Our annual Long Table Dinner & Auction, Wild Whispers, was an unforgettable evening of celebration and generosity. Set in the mysterious world of a 1920s speakeasy, guests gathered for an evening of dining, entertainment and giving—all in support of the animals and programs at Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our guests, donors and community partners, Wild Whispers raised $201,000 to support Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium. Every gift helps provide resources for the zoo’s animal care, conservation, education and access programs.

A special moment of the evening was the opportunity to fund a new animal transport vehicle for the zoo’s healthcare team. With $110,000 designated for the vehicle, supporters are helping the veterinary team safely and efficiently transport animals when they need specialized care. From routine medical procedures to more complex veterinary needs, reliable transportation is an important part of providing exceptional care for the zoo’s animals.

The success of Wild Whispers is a testament to what happens when the community comes together for Point Defiance Zoo. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who helped make the evening possible—from our guests and sponsors to auction donors, volunteers and everyone who raised a paddle in support.

Thank you for making Wild Whispers such a tremendous success and investing in the future of Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium.
