COCKTAILS WITH THE CURATORS – SUMMER 2020 (TBD)
What
Dress in your summer cocktail attire and join the Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium vet staff on a tour through the healthcare facility. Learn about the new radiography machine (purchased in our 2019 fundraiser) and the importance of animal care. Sip on themed-cocktails and enjoy light appetizers in the secret garden. You will also have the opportunity to bid online for a few exclusive auction items/experiences and take action to support PDZA. Face masks will be required for a portion of the evening.

About The Event
We’ve been waiting for this moment and are excited to have you back – in person! Join us for an exclusive evening of fundraising, cocktails, and appetizers while you have the opportunity to hear from the zookeepers at PDZA. This event will also include an online silent auction component with a few, exclusive items that you won’t want to miss (hint – they involve animals)!
Who We Are
The Zoo Society is a 501(c)(3) non-profit fundraising organization whose mission and purpose is to engage our community in support of Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium’s education, conservation, research and preservation efforts through the Pacific Northwest, the Pacific Rim and beyond.
Goods and/or services donated to the Society are tax-deductible as allowed by law.
About the Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium
Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium is located on 29 acres within Tacoma’s Point Defiance Park. The Zoo is a national leader in endangered species breeding and reintroduction efforts and is a fully accredited member of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA). It is the only combined zoo and aquarium in the Northwest, with annual attendance of more than 720,000 visitors annually.
