We`re so excited to see the portable dental X-ray (and developer) being used for Sanjiv`s recent root canal.
In 2020 our supporters helped raise the funds to purchase this dental X-ray and developer for the healthcare team at Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium. It`s allowed them to routinely evaluate the health of teeth under the gumline for the @ptdefiancezoo animals. With the ability to obtain dental X-rays at any time, staff can quickly consult with veterinary dentists remotely to create dental health plans.

Not only was Herald a star of the stage, he was also always the best dressed "good boy" at Zoobilee. He will be missed by so many, and our thoughts are with his keepers, Zoo staff, and veterinary team who were all part of his pack.
